A while back I told everyone there were big things(not really) in the works. Well I'll give away some of it. In the next few weeks/month we will be building a few new things at Drop In that are more rollerblade friendly. We are building a kink ledge going thru the new area where the old mini used to be, a small ledge on the left going down the set of 3, a regular movable round rail box, and maybe 1 other piece. This stuff doesn't come cheap. I have my dad's friend who owns a construction business working up an estimate, and if it's not too expensive, he will be doing the work. I don't expect much at all, but anyone who makes donations will get free sessions(ex. $30 donation will get you 3 or 4 free sessions). I really encourage people to donate whatever they can, because it will actually end up being cheaper for you rather than paying per session, and if we can raise enough money it will give us a better chance to get these obstacles built the correct way( bc if we can't get enough money/costs too much to get it done professionally, we will be forced to do it ourselves). Also there's some exciting news from Razors soon, about their skates. Not sure what I can and can't say right now, but it is definately exciting. Stay tuned. Closed this Monday for Memorial Day.
